ScoreBergen, is the Bergen County, New Jersey, chapter of SCORE, a non-profit national organization made up of more 10,500 volunteers dedicated to helping emerging and existing small businesses maximize their potential for success by providing free, confidential, professional business counseling and low-fee workshops.

Our Counselors

ScoreBergen has more than 30 counselors. All are active, semi-retired or retired executives who have either achieved top-level positions in major firms or have owned and operated their own small- to mid-size companies.

ScoreBergen provides three types of counseling: One-on-One at our Paramus headquarters, satellite offices or other Bergen County locations; On-Site Evaluation for established businesses and Mentoring by a team of counselors to provide specialized assistance to companies that require long-term strategic operational or turn-around advice.

Counseling sessions take place on Friday mornings in Paramus. Other hours can often be arranged if this is inconvenient. Appointments are required. To set a date for counseling, please call us or submit a request by e-mail.

We also conduct affordable, one- and two-session workshops on a variety of important business-related issues ranging from business planning and marketing to buying and selling a company. Please visit our workshops page for a schedule and description of upcoming seminars.
