In 2003, Aero Manufacturing Company, a family firm founded in 1946, was in the midst of a record downturn in business. Significant competition from Asia, shifts in the buying patterns of our existing customer base, as well as internal staffing issues were affecting our bottom line, and the ultimate health of the company.
It was time for a change in strategy.
